Wolverines Play 3,000th Hockey Game
Michigan, ranked No. 3 nationally, is the second college hockey team to reach the milestone after Minnesota
Al Randall (right) and former Wolverine hockey standout Max Shuart (Class of 2017) called the action from their usual perch at Yost Ice Arena. No truth to the belief Randall has called every one of those 3,000 games. However, he did call his 1,000th Michigan game back on March 8, 2019.
Michigan is 1,631-1,040-145 since beginning play in 1923.
It leads, 5-0, midway through the second period with goals from Brendan Brisson, Mackie Samoskevich, Kent Johnson, Garrett Van Whye and Dylan Duke.
Great news!💙💛🏒
