Even though it’s a side note, I was equally impressed with the crowd as well as the team’s performance. A sellout on a Sunday night at 8 pm with the students on break would have simply been unimaginable before John Beilein completely reinvigorated the program.
That's a great impression, Bob. In the past, even when a sellout was announced for these non-conference games, there was no great impact from the crowd. This is totally different than anything I've seen in almost 50 years. The crowd fills the place and is engaged and enthusiastic. I might write about it at an upcoming game as this continues into conference play.
Yesterday was great fun but let’s see that production in a B1G game! Actually, we don’t need to hit 19 threes all the time but we do need to be consistent (and better than 4-28).
Yeah, Brian, Michigan definitely needs that kind of three-point shooting against conference opponents, too. And shooting something like 8 of 20 will almost always be enough for this team behind the arc.
