I like the “trust your instincts” concept and I think it will serve the team well as the season goes on but the players still need to be schooled on valuing the ball and each possession, a la John Beilein’s squads. When that’s done, this team could become elite.
That's definitely the final exam, Brian -- get the turnovers down to 8 or 9 a game instead of 15. Raphael Davis on BTN just rated Michigan his No. 2 Big Ten team, and noted what we well know -- that turnovers are our lone problem. I guess Oklahoma's defense gets plenty of them.
