The joy these Wolverines were experiencing leapt off the page and made me feel almost as good as they all felt. Those of us who follow the football team closely can vicariously feel their exuberance. None of them experienced the RichRod and Brady Hoke down years but almost all of them were impacted by the Covid Year debacle. They all embodied the Schembechlerian motto: Those who stay will be Champions. They made it their mantra and it ended up proving true. This is one M alum who will shamelessly flaunt my natty gear everywhere, especially in Seattle on October 5!

Brian, I am so glad that you experienced a special joy in reading what the Wolverines had to say about becoming champions. And I know you will have a great time in Seattle on Oct. 5! This has been something this year, hasn't it?

It’s been an incredibly satisfying year, considering how the regular season began and ended without JH on the sidelines, the Stallions “scandal” hanging over the team’s head, the efforts of B1G coaches (and the embarrassingly weakly submissive response by Tony Petitti) to derail the Wolverines, and the lack of respect by so many “experts”. I don’t want to say that the NC was Team 144’s way to shove all that back in their faces, but it was the most satisfying result I could imagine. Legendary!

Satisfying is the operative word, Brian. Very satisfying. No regrets. Nothing could've been better!
